We will make mistakes along the way and we all learn from our mistakes. We believe "mistakes are proof you are trying".
*The Granite School District is using math Ready Math as a tool for math instruction. It is a research proven math curriculum that complements the common core standards. i Ready is the digital component and has lessons, activities, games, and assessments.
*Math homework is given Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The homework will be a review of concepts taught in class that day. Please check your child's homework for understanding.
*Math 100- students are encouraged to engage in math activities for 100 minutes a week. An easy way to think about this is 20 minutes a day for five days of the week. These minutes include completing the math homework packet, drills and practice on websites like ST Math, MobyMax, or iReady, flash cards, and math games. The goal is for students to enjoy math and strive for proficiency.
